Delicate Delights offers Berlin‚ a small bite of homemade style American cupcakes in Charlottenburg.
We know that there are many things that separate the Europeans from the Americans, but we believe that
cake should be the universal uniter! And we've going to prove it one cupcake at a time.
At Delicate Delights we've revamped typical American buttercream frosting with an Italian twist. This holds true for some cupcake bakers too, who use just plain butter or even shortening to make their buttercream frostings.
The result may look good, but it doesnt taste good and isnt good for you. We go the extra mile and replace some of the fat with hand made meringue beaten from fresh egg whites and slowly heated to form a perfect consistency. This process, known as Italian buttercream results in a lighter, less sweet and creamier buttercream with less fat. Viva Italia!
Delicate Delights has gone even further than Italy to bring it's cupcake message around the world. With organic lavender blossoms from Provance, real vanilla beans from Madagascar and dark rum from Jamaica, we've searched the globe for the freshest ingredients to ensure that cupcakes earn the respect they deserve and American cuisine isn't known for McDonalds alone!
